Millfield Estates Networking for Charity
Millfield Estates put a new spin on networking in Liverpool whilst raising money for Charity. On Tuesday, they showcased their newly acquired office space at Yorkshire House on Chapel Street with a beer pong tournament. Teams from Liverpool’s business district, including Liverpool LEP and Liverpool Vision, competed for the champion title of the popular party game.
Millfield are going to upgrade features both inside and outside the property. These include the entrance foyer, landings and offices for which a planning decision is imminent. The evening gave Millfield the opportunity to share their exciting plans.
In an effort to avoid a stuffy traditional networking event, Millfield Estates opted for beer pong. After several games, Millfield Estates, led by property director Paul Dobson, who were victorious over Liverpool Vision to win the tournament title. Other teams included digital agency Mashbo and Aspect software specialists, taking third and fourth place respectively.
Paul Dobson, commented:
“The beer pong tournament was a great success and we had the pleasure of meeting some of Liverpool’s most bright and innovative organisations. We really wanted to offer people the chance to experience our new space before the renovation work begins and the healthy competition that we created seemed to be a fun way to meet the neighbourhood.”
Josh Turner, commented:
“It’s great to link a Millfield Estates networking event with a worthwhile charity, especially for such a worthy cause. Everybody had a really great time and it was good to meet so many like-minded people from Liverpool.”
The tournament organised by Creative Kitchen helped raised money for CALM (Campaign Against Living Miserably).
Their work helps prevent male suicide, the biggest killer of men aged 25-40 in the UK.
