Millfield Estates Celebrates Strong Quarter with £150,000 in Bolton Deals

Bolton-based commercial property investors, Millfield Estates, celebrate a highly successful strong business quarter, thanks to a series of new leases and renewals in Bolton worth over £150,000.

One notable deal includes a one-year lease renewal with Kings People’s Church at Boundary Industrial Estate. This short-term arrangement allows the church to stay active in the community while their new, larger building is being developed nearby. The deal highlights Millfield’s ability to respond quickly and flexibly to its tenants’ needs.

Also at Boundary Industrial Estate, popular children’s play centre Curly Whirleez has signed a five-year lease extension, securing their location until April 2028.

Just around the corner at Riverside on Waters Meeting Road, Millfield welcomed new tenants Pool Technical Services, a leading supplier of pool equipment, who have signed a five-year lease. In the same area, existing tenant Bespoke Design Glazing Limited has moved to a new, larger unit—doubling their operational space with another five-year lease.

These recent deals across the two estates will bring in a total rental income of £150,000 for Millfield Estates.

Paul Dobson, Property Director at Millfield Estates, commented:

“It’s been a busy quarter, and our team has worked hard to meet the needs of both new and existing clients. Building strong, long-term relationships is at the heart of what we do, and the latest Bolton deals really reflect that. It’s incredibly rewarding to see businesses grow in the spaces we provide.”

The recent lease renewals at Boundary Industrial Estate follow a £75,000 improvement project that included new external cladding on the units—boosting both their appeal and the estate’s overall look.

This news comes shortly after three new lettings at Longford Trading Estate in Manchester, totalling £65,000, and the completion of a major refurbishment at Yorkshire House—a standout office building in Liverpool’s business district.

With over three generations behind the business, Millfield Estates has grown an impressive property portfolio, which includes industrial estates, retail units, office buildings, and trade counter developments. While they have strong roots in Bolton, the family-run firm also owns properties in top locations across the UK, including Mayfair, St Albans, Liverpool, Manchester, and Nottingham.
